Charity: water is a non-profit committed to bringing clean water to developing countries. The cool thing is that their model allows for 100% of public donations go directly to support clean water projects.
Their website is great. Very well designed with tools to help you start your own online fundraising campaign as well as actually track how your money we spent. Also over 1.2 million followers on twitter. Impressive.
Anyways, if you’re looking for somewhere to contribute in the new year, charity: water might be worth a look. Or at the very least this video is an inspirational watch.
